This was part of a series of attempts to capture a bat flying around
against the sunset. I never got a great picture of the bat, but the
sky colors are great! Back at our hotel, Bhairon Vilas, in Bikaner.

The colors of these mustard fields, which we saw all over the place,
were just spectacular. The very same green and yellow-gold
combination was also a popular one for saris. On the road to
Jaisalmer.

Pretty much as soon as we had dropped our stuff in our hotel, my
parents and I struck off for the town, and met many friendly patrons

You could hardly asked for a nicer rainbow! One has to be in the
right place at the right time to catch one, whether it be made by rain

The next morning (2006-01-30) we started the day with a trip to the
fort to see all of the sights it had to offer. This included some
really amazing tapestries and other art. Jaisalmer Fort.

Near the end of our day in Agra, we returned to the vicinity of the
Taj Mahal with a Took-Took driver (Vijay Singh, look him up!) who was
giving us a local tour. This is the sunset near the Taj.
