Here are some answers to the exercises. The English translation is my own; the Irish is the original Irish from Abairtí.

Bhí spórt mór ag an gcoileán cúpla lá ó shin. Thóg sé bábóg Mháire ina bhéal. Léim sé suas ar an gcathaoir. Léim sé anuas arís. Rith sé chuig an bhfuinneog. Rith sé isteach faoin mbord. Bhí an-spórt aige leis an mbábóg.
There was great fun for the puppy a couple of days ago. He took Máire's doll in his mouth. He jumped up on the chair. He jumped down again. He ran to the window. He ran in under the table. It was great fun for him with the doll.
The little mouse was hungry. She put her head out of her hole. She saw a piece of bread on the floor. Out she went. The cat was watching for her, but the mouse didn't see her. The cat lept. The mouse ran into her hole. She didn't get the piece of bread.
Bhí ocras ar an luch bheag. Chuir sí a ceann amach as a poll. Chonaic sí píosa aráin ar an urlár. Amach léi. Bhí an cat ag faire uirthi, ach ní fhaca an luch í. Léim an cat. Rith an luch isteach ina poll. Ní bhfuair sí an píosa aráin.
